About us

Our charitable aim is to inspire our visitors and supporters to explore and value the New Forest. We do this by collecting, conserving and interpreting our collections and by providing educational activities and information to a broad range of audiences. In doing so, we act in ways that are ethical, ecologically sensitive, accessible and affordable.

We receive no public funding and rely on the generosity of our Friends and supporters, our visitors who spend and donate in our Centre and a variety of funds and foundations who support us with grants.
